Phone Calls

Clients are permitted limited access to the house telephone for personal and treatment-related calls. This access is based on your level of care.


First 7 Days of Treatment

  • Clients may not make or receive calls during the first 7 days of treatment.
  • Upon completing intake, you will be permitted one 5-minute call to notify your      family of your arrival and request any needed items.


Phone Access Schedule

  • 3.5 Level of Care: 1 personal call per week
  • 3.1 Level of Care: 2 personal calls per week
  • PHP/IOP/OP Levels of Care: 3 personal calls per week


Phone availability:
Personal calls may be made from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM on designated days.


Call Time Limits

  • Personal calls are limited to 15 minutes per call.

At New Day Recovery Center, we recognize the important role that supportive family and loved ones play in the recovery process. When clinically appropriate, family involvement is encouraged. To promote focus, structure, and consistency within the program, visitation is limited and carefully managed.


Visitation Schedule & Guidelines

  • Visitation is not permitted during the first two full weeks of program participation.
    • Exceptions may be granted with approval from your treatment team and upper management.
  • Clients may receive one visit per week, scheduled on the weekend:
    • Men’s visitation: Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Women’s visitation: Sundays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • All visitors must be listed on the client's visitor request form
  • Clients are allowed a maximum of two (2) visitors, not including children, per visit.
    • Visitors may not be rotated during a single visit (e.g., two people in the first       hour and two different people in the second hour is not permitted).
  • Visits may occur on-site or via video call with prior arrangement.


Physical Contact Policy

  • Physical contact is limited to a brief hug at the beginning and end of the visit only.
  • Any prolonged, inappropriate, or unsanctioned physical contact is strictly prohibited and may result in visitation restrictions.


Visitor Requirements

  • Visitors must:
    • Sign in upon arrival
    • Bring only their photo ID and car keys
  • Cell phones, bags, purses, or other belongings are not allowed in the      visitation area.
  • No drop-offs are allowed, except:
    • Unopened Tobacco products
    • Money for the client’s store account
  • Any other items must be mailed from an approved vendor or store directly to      the facility.
